Lets talk heads!!

well, i know i am on the verge of blowing the head off of my 98, i have been hitting over 50 psi almost everyday for the last year, on my stock gasket (200k miles) and stock retorqued bolts

anyway, thinking about biting the bullet and dealing with an o-ring and studs... but have a few questions, 1. is there a good place to get a rebuilt head w/ o-rings cut, for a decent price? 2. at what point does porting actually become practical? 3. are 14mm studs much more helpful, and do the holes have to be machined, or can you tap them yourself? 4. how much psi are these setups going to safely handle (14mm compared to 12mm, o-rings and no o-rings)

You can go to puredieselpower.com and they will sell you a new head with everything on it they will port it oring fire ring what ever you want, and it will tell you what you would need for your truck and the difference between all of it.
