Larger Turbine housing

Is it neccesary to put a larger turbine housing on my stock turbo when using the tst cam plate #6, they say after 270 hp you should use a larger housing,
i already have 50 hp DDP injectors and a 4" exhaust, installing gauges as soon as they arrive....any suggestions??

it depends on how you drive and what you are gonna do with the truck. Daily with no load you'll be fine for a while if ya plan on leaveing yer foot in it the egts are gonna get a lil hairy pulling a load or city driving

At bare minimum, I'd get a bigger housing. Would suggest a HTT 62/12.

Use your EGT's as a guide if you need a bigger housing or not. Diesel Dave is running a 10 plate, GSK and laser cut DV's on the stock turbo. His temps are pretty good, and he has put down 350hp at the last two dyno's we've had.
