Larger injector lines?

what are the pros and cons of going with larger Injector lines? And are the lines special in any way? I have some metal hydralic lines at work in many diff sizes, wondering if they will work

People have tried them along with the higher flow connection tubes (larger hole size). At the power levels we run at it isn't required or really helps with making more power. The truck will idle differently and will sound like it has a lumpy cam in it. It takes more cc's from the injection pump to fill up those lines. Even though the fluid is non compressable, but I can see that it will take slightly more cc's to get the injectors to pop off properely. Of course you could put in a high volume race p pump, and you should have tons of fuel available and you wont have that issue at idle. Of course you could adjust/lower some of the injector pop-off pressure and could help some of the idling and drivablity issues. Let us know how you make out, if you try the larger lines.

I have a set of lines and push tubes on my sled puller, made a big diffrence. But I wouldnt use them unless you was going to make a sled puller or a drager. But thats just me.

As a rule of thumb your plumbing is only as big as you smallest orifice....It would take one large pump or one huge injector to validate larger tubes to them
