Designed for gas engines, but it will read codes and clear them on the cummins. Not all functions work, but well enough to scan and read codes.
I used it primarily for my rock buggy project before I got the gauges installed.
There are others, but this is free, all you need to purchase is the adapter and a laptop with a serial port.

Autoenginuitydotcom has a full-function laptop software OBD2 scantool - the DCJ Enhanced option fully emulates DRBIII and starscan, as used by DCJ service bays - has full Diesel functionality - check'em out...........
