One of my first things I am going to do to my 1996 cummins a kill switch , I know these motors are pretty much mechcanical , Do these motors have a control relay to open the fuel solenoid .
Where should I wire my kill switch too.

Like Shovelhead has pointed out, there are VERY few new questions here. Just about everything pertaining to these trucks, their repair and improvement has already been discussed. it just takes a simple search to find it.

thinking about it you could run your ignition switch threw a relay wich you can pick up remotes for so you could conceal the switch in the dash and have it remotly controled if you would like i could probubly put a diagram together for you

i did a kill switch on my rig and hid the switch inside the shifter boot along the shifter shaft. I can find it through the boot. Just a neutral safty switch.

Greg, Look under the dash about where the clutch pedal would be. You should see a wire there that bypasses the clutch pedal safety switch. It should be 20ga yellow with a red tracer. Cut that wire and route each side to a switch. That will not allow the starter to operate without the swich being in the on position.
