Switchs,,placement, etc

Hi guys, I cant seem to find what I am looking for on the search feature. But what I want is some kind of custom switch panel to mount all the switches that I am aquiring. My truck doesent have the little cubby hole so I cant use that. I need something that will handle 4 or 5 switches,,,
any ideas would be greatly appreciated, and pics would be awesome

Thanks

Kevin

I think you've already seen this Kevin. Six channel operation all via remote control - no cubby hole required. I have the remote velcroed to the ledge above the stick so I can take it outside if need be. Operates my PacBrake, fog lights, back-up lights, and driving lights - I still have one channel left for aux tank fuel pump to fill OEM when I get the tank:

Kevin,

Had this on my '98. Four switches. I think the panel is still in my garage. If you need some wiring done and we can arrange it, I have all the tools in my garage. If I could see the inside of your truck and get a rough idea of where you'd want the panel, I'm sure I could figure something out. It just may take a bit to round up the right parts for application and placement.

I think what I would ultimately like is something where my heated seats are. If you make it to AAB we can sit down and figure something out.

I like the wireless thing too,, but I think that for nitrous and my speed eliminator a regular arming switch is much safer

The switches are lighted as well - used in older Western Star trucks.

Actually after a bit of use, the remote is no more complicated than regular switches, just no wires running into the cab is all. The wiring of the module may look complicated, but the module, relays, and wires just run into the same box under the hood instead of spread out. Use far less wire as well.

both of those are killer.
Thanks. It's one hobby I'm really good at.

Yep, an arming switch is a good idea for nitrous, but IIRC, I think where the heated seat switches are, may be too far from your reach to shut down quickly if need be. Especially if your strapped / seat belted into your seat - may have to find a spot closer IMHO - might be something to consider for track purposes. The rest of them shouldn't be an issue in that area. Just need to find something nice that fits. Oh, turn away for the ripping apart of your dash - I don't think that panel comes out easily.

LOL,, I plan on getting a trigger setup for the nitrous, kinda like a remote bump starter, so if I get into trouble I just drop it and nitrous off. I also have a full throttle switch too, so if I let off the throttle it is off too.
