I will add though that once its moving it more then makes up for it. If I load it even to 2 PSI of boot it comes out HARD! Its just if you mash it the truck takes a bit longer to kick in and go. Kat your reply is noted but doesn't bother me but you are right it does have that bit of lag.

Re:Just got back from DTT

I think that this bit of lag might be contributed to the lower idle speed in drive ( mine has dropped about 50 rpm due to the TC), but since my races usually develop like this:

Red light, ricer at my left.
Me thinking : " Today I stay civilized"
Light goes green.
Feathering the pedal I start to roll.
Car to the left says " Wrroooommm squeeeeal"
Me thinking: "Oh he wants to play"
Pressing loud pedal to the floor at around 10 mph with just a tiny bit of boost.
VROOOOOOOOOOM SCREEEEAAAAMMM
Tiny speck emerging from the cloud in the mirror seems to be the ricer formerly to my left.

So I do not really experience the lag. Jamie, try stomping on it while just rolling at idle in 1st - what happens then ???

AlpineRAM

Yeah, you got to get the injectors so you won't be able to see the tiny speck thru the black cloud ;D
Tim

Re:Just got back from DTT

Oh if I stop it while just rolling a bit I leave a good cloud but its all pull there is no lag then. Its just gone! Trust me I am very happy with my tranny and have no complaints I was only stating that if you mash it froma dead stop it had more lag before it turns on! I have a question to those following cause you all have DTT does you truck seem to load the motor more at idle? I mean when it gear it wants to crawl alot easier then before needing more breaking pressure to hold it back?

Oh yeah, let off the brake and it will idle away at 10mph even with the trailer hooked up.

Yep, 10 mph, almost reagardless of the incline. I had to change my rear brake setup to work with it.

AlpineRAM
