Will the JR Hx55 work ok with DD5's? got great deal on DD5's so i wanna use them and when we make some money other things will go on but later. So Will the DD5's be ok or not?

what kind of power will i getand will I still be able to pull a 3 horse trailer?

you will more than likly loose 5th gear towing, i talked to jr a while back about this. he said it would not be spooling well enough at 1800 to 2k to pull with.

 

Well we'll just keep it under or above that.

 

He's alreaedy lost fifth gear now. It's an auto.

I had JR's 55 in my 6 spd and it was AWESOME but i think in an auto it would be BAD b/c you would not loose as much boost shifting. No boost until about 2000-2200 RPM. Definately need a drag comp to keep those rpm's up when running. It will more than likely run really hot towing a trailer!! But when racing or pulling it should do awesome. I am getting another one on my pulling truck so i am a believer of them.
