Ok... My family has owned a shop for 30+ years and we have been dealing with jasper for many years. We have had nothing but problems with their transmissions. We did one in a ford van 4 times until we got a good one. Yes they do have a good warranty, however they only pay pennies on the dollar labor wise. You can do whatever you would like with your issue, however if i was in your place i would look into other options IE Suncoast Goerend or ATS ETC. I have an ATS stage one with a 5 star converter and i love it and it has a 5 year 500000 warranty. I just have never had good luck with jasper trannys, thus we do not do business with jasper anymore.

In Sacramento go see Ken Imler Diesel. They will get you pointed in the right direction. One of the best shops in all of California.

I have installed 3 of them Jasper Remans on a friends 96 12V. All 3 of them went out within 65,000 miles, we finally put a NV5600 in it.....
