So I need Jasper Trans info bad, please.

So I have another thread here about how I smoked my HERE.

So after finding out some bad info on a builder, DTT, I have been looking Goerend, ATS, and .................................................. .............

wait for it...............

Jasper heavy duty upgrade trans.

This one is more affordable for my start up business ***. They sound, well, not to bad. Billet TC with upgraded and increased clutch material, upgraded valve body, and upgraded internals of which I am trying to gather the full spec list on.

The stock trans got me 7 years and around 80k or so and 100k till it just got to bad to ignore. I need a bit of an upgrade. I don't need to pull sleds or break 10 second 1/4 mile times. I do though run it hard and tow 8k+ lbs. with occasional 2000 mile trips towing 10k+, plus run SMARTY at moderate levels.

Now I want to go stage 2 ATS, of course, but can't swing near 8k.

So who here has any info on them like 1st or 2nd person experience.

I asked about Jasper and found info that immediately made me look elsewhere. I can't remember what it was but it was bad. I think it was the number of failures they have, and sure there is a warranty, but it doesn't cover tear out and reinstallation, especially when you are on a trip hundreds of miles from home.

You can call Goerend and have the parts shipped to your builder if you can't wait for the entire Goerend trans. Heck, Dave would even send them to me and walk me through the rebuild if I wanted. For my money, paying $500 for them to do the job was worth it, even though I had to wait. I like them testing it, installing it, blessing it. I like the whole package deal....

I agree with Lost Lake. He provided a very informative review on Goerend products which was enough to sway me away from the other offerings. You should check it out before you go with a Jasper.

I am gonna give Goerend a call on Tuesday and see what he can do for me. I'm at the point now because of the costs of these trannys that I want and really just need something that fixes the crap problems in the stock one. I got 90k+ outta stock, albeit the performance wasn't great. But the numbers are just there to not build a boosted launch sled puller.
