Jasper transmissions

Is anyone running a Jasper built 47RE. I did mine in yesterday pulling the 5th wheel and had Jasper Engines and Transmission recommented.

Can't beat the price, but I would spend the extra money if you had a local person who specializes in trans. rebuilds.

I had one in my 93. It's a 518 I think, but there were no issues with the build.

Had someone blow up a Jasper 727 behind a 12V the other day. It was two years old and not too many miles. Not sure how hard it was abused however.

I also recommend having a local shop build your trans and have it upgraded while its apart. Well worth the money.
