The wires for the sender on my Isspro trans temp gauge arent any where close to being long enough. Would it hurt anything to cut and splice some extra wire?

I dont want to buy the extension wire from Isspro if I dont have to as I already have wire and connectors laying here.

 

Not at all I had to do the same thing, It has worked fine for me.
