installing walbro 392!!
I'm starting to install walbro kit from Glacier today, is there anything that i need to be aware of before i start, or is it basically following the directions.
umm when you cut the metal line have a piece of hose with a plug in it or visegrips for the tank side, it will be like a siphon and keep running diesel on you. Also the plug for the for the relay, make sure all the wires are in there good, I had one come loose and lost power to the pump killing the truck.
I just took it off since it was shot. I dunno if you have seen the other thread about the walbro pumps in the winter, I know we dont have to much to worry about in Tx but my terminals have already rusted from mud, might want to put some silicon on them.
I just took my stock LP off the bracket. Ditto on drenching yourself in fuel, but come on, what fun is it if you don't? No one will even believe you ever replaced the LP
When cutting the steel lines with tubing cutter, don't lay directly underneath. When dropped onto your clenched teeth, the tubing cutter will hurt like a SOB, if not worse. I am not telling how I know.
