I am a little confused on installing instructions. There are 2 papers, one shows to install it over the original pillar cover, the other paper says to replace original pillar cover I purchased from Glowshift. Probably no tech support till monday. Has anyone had experience with this. I am working on a 2001 installing triple gauges with speaker hole.

 

My triple pod without speaker hole fit over the factory trim. I am thinking that with the speaker, you might need to replace the trim. Trying to remember how my 98.5 was. I can't see how it would work to cover it.

I just did one last week. You will have to cut out the raised speaker hole so the new gauge piller will fit over it correctly. It attachses over the original and is held in place with plastic push in's, or screws, and the original piller cover holds it all in place using the original clips.
