Installing
Installing
Have purchased a Quadzilla Recon with fuel pressure kit and have trouble with install instructions, for my 99 Dodge 24V. Instructions say to replace the top banjo bolt (with tapped replacement) closest to the fan pointing at the hood. On my truck the fuel line coming form the filter attaches to the injector pump at the 3 to 4 O-clock position pointing at the left front tire.
Question, is the sender installed on the line coming from the fuel filter to the IP? If this is correct: Will the sender and guage work properly if it is laying on its side?
I have a stock fuel system.
Any other hints on install of this system will be appreciated.

From the description, it sounds like they are telling you to put it on the fuel filter canister, as the banjo bolt closest to the front of the truck on the IP would be the return line. You could also remove one of the plugs out of the fuel filter housing and thread your sender in there, assuming your sender is 1/8" NPT. I wouldn't worry about the gauge not working if its mounted at an angle on the IP. Since they can't always be mounted vertical, I'd think that the manufacturers would be smart enough to make them work in any position.
Thanks for the info, I got an E-mail frum Quadzilla, I have the instructions for the 02 vice my 99. The connection is not closest to the fan, and they agree that I can mount the gauge at any angle.
