Installed EZ and I'm Disappointed

I was wanting the truck to pull awheelie, but I think that is a little ways off.

Honestly I can see the differenece in mileage and it has gave it that little bit it needed on the bottom end. Next is going to be a DTT tranny, and then some injectors. Then I'm finished

Man, what pills are you on?

"Finished", that's synonymous with "Going to spend more money"!

No, SERIOUSLY, I will be thru. hahaha

I know, I know, the first step to curing your problems is to admit that you have one.

My name is Wayne, and I am hooked on torque. I will no longer be torque free for the rest of my days.

If HP follows, then so be it. I guess torque is a booster adict to HP. So I guess I will be going off the deep end and no sort of rehab will cure me other than well, you guessed it, more torque.

I wonder if there ever has been a cummins that has pulled the front tires off the ground?

How awesome would that be to see?

Happy GA,
I didn't notice alot when I put my EZ on either a couple years ago. I noticed alittle cooler EGT's because I put a turnbuckle and spring on the waste gate and adjusted it to 26 to 28 psi. I did notice alittle better response off idle but nothing huge. I noticed it pulled hard when it finally went into lockup. I started to get some shudder at lockup so alittle over a year ago I went up to B.C. and had a full DTT trans. done with and 89% T/C. Man what a difference, I think I never really felt the advantages of the EZ because of the loose factory T/C. Just my observations. Mike

Maybe the auto does affect things differently. My truck was a whole different animal after the ez but it's a standard. So much nicer to drive as compared to before.

The factory auto sucks major thingys. I hate mine. I can't wait for the day when I give DTT $6000 of my money.

HAppyGA, the only thing I would suggest is give Joe Webb a call at Sun Coast. Only about 300 miles from ya and you will get a great unit.

Do you have any contact info for Sun Coast? What kind of build ups am I looking at from them? Bullet Proof, or just Enough to get by?

www.suncoastconverters.com

IMO the best in the business. Joe can fix you up with Bullet Proof or anything lower. Most of the quickest trucks in the country are running his units.

It made a big difference in my truck! But again mine is an 01 ho with six speed. I can hit third gear and leave lots of rubber on the road I do have a friend and he said he wasn't impressed with his auto either. It won't be long and the bug will bite and you'll start the BOMBING.

started a slush box fund already. when it hits $4000, I'll be calling DTT and getting the overhaul. Then I will be like this , then when my axle breaks I will be like this , then after I fix that I will be like this .
