Got my bubble burst yesterday at dealership. Went in with all intentions of getting a new truck ordered. Wanting another SRW Megacab. Decided 2500 would be adequate but was open to either 2500 or 3500. Sat there and watch GM try to order the truck and the ordering system will not accept the diesel-automatic package. He looked it up and apparently they do not have the automatic transmissions. He let me read the blurb on the website. They have stocking issues right now so you can only order manual transmissions.

 

Sellin' like hotcakes I guess?

 

Now that's a disappointment or maybe a sign I was just about to order a 3500 Aisin next week. So there were no auto trucks at all not even the Aisin?

swap in good clutch & mild programmer never have to complain about torque management, improper down shifts or upshifts while towing, goofy shifting on ice when you don’t want it......

Be patient and wait for the Aisin. If that tranny was available in '06,I'd have ordered one.
