Injectors- what's best these days?

Been out of the loop for quite some time, nice to see DTR is still going strong! Just updated my sig.
It's time to replace my current injectors. Old ones are nearing 300k. Getting a intermittent rough idle and hesitations at times when towing, more so when air temps are warmer. Leads me to believe its an injector pump but fuel pressure is good. Want to stay around 100 hp area. Where should I be looking?

Formula One, Mach 1or 2 stage injectors or DDP
My mach one injectors bought used are still one of the best upgrades I've done.
Remember quality, not quantity.... you get what you pay for in this case and advisable not to skimp.

I picked up a set of brand new bosch RV275 a year ago....just replaced my vp with a bluechip, injectors go in next.....my truck makes plenty of power for what I use it for so I didn't go too overboard.

I decided on DDP 125's injectors with new fuel tubes. ATS intake and a AFE pro dry quantum series CAI. My ole girl has woken up for sure- very pleased with the outcome. Now to schedule a time on the rollers at Gomers in Missoula, I hope I'm past 400hp.

Kurt, where did you end up getting your 275's?
I'm thinking I want to try a set as HTT says I may be overfueling my turbo with my Mach 1.6's. I have a set of DDP 95s I would trade for a set of 275's plus 100.00. Know anyone?

I've been running the Mach1.6 w/my factory HX35 turbo and been very happy with the acceleration, towing and low EGT. It may be that your turbo is not spooling up fast enough or providing enough air to burn the fuel.

That is what I am thinking, but HTT says I'm overfueling the turbo.
Maybe I should try going back to a 35 but I have the 4" exhaust to the flange. Any ideas on that?
Thanks!

I'd try a different turbo before I'd even think about changing the Mach injectors. Hands down these are the cleanest, best spray pattern for mpg and provide good power. Maybe get an Hybrid HX40 and try it... I think it'll match up w/your 4" exhaust and probably spool better. IMO, I'd want a turbo just slightly larger than what I have (factory) but really don't wanna touch anything because of the good reliability I've had, good towing and excellent mpg. The HX35 will boost up to about 30-35psi.
Watch your EGT from low speed up to highway and note the readings for your average or intended driving, towing, etc. If high EGT at low speeds, the turbo is not providing enough air to burn off the fuel, if high at max use, it is running out of air to burn the fuel. Of course all just my opinions but probably an ok point to start with.
BTW... thank you for your service!

I guess I'll be on the lookout for a new used turbo. I'm not an engineer and didn't take a lot of time to dig deep on the turbo; just recommendations for the HTB2. Highway speed I'm probably at 800-850 with just the topper on.
Can you DM me some info on your 3"Carli+Deaver leafpack? Thanks.
It was my pleasure!
