Which injectors for my setup?

I'm looking into new injectors, currently I'm running stock injectors. As far as other mods go, I have an Edge Comp tapped, 4" exhaust, gauges, and a true flow foam filter for the stock air box. The truck is an 01.5 with a 6 speed and 4.10 rear end. One of my buddies here in town is about to switch out his Bosch RV 275 injectors to something bigger and I was thinking his old injectors would be pretty decent with the Comp and stock turbo. I can get a decent deal on the injectors. What do you guys think? Anybody running something similar? Will I be sorry I didn't cough up a couple extra $ and buy bigger injectors while I'm changing them out or should I do this for now, then upgrade turbo and injectors again down the road?

Thanks for the help, Matt

I would just get his old injectors for now. when you are ready to upgrade your turbo i would get bigger injectors. I think you would be putting to much fuel with bigger than 275s with your stock turbo.

I run the RV275's with an EZ and its an awesome combo...I am sure it would be even nicer with a comp

You can run up to a 100 hp injector with the Comp with the stock 12cm HX35 - you just have to be smart about it......WOT at 5x5 will be a bit toasty but it won't be anything you can't manage.......if you haul heavy, just turn the Comp off. Don't get me wrong, 100 hp stix and the Comp on kill will benefit from a higher flowing turbo for absolute max hp and egt control but it can be done with the HX35 until you do some turbo mods. I like the RV275's and they are a great combo with the Comp but the RV275's will eventually leave you wanting more. If you can pick up the used 275's for around a $100, I would say go for it......just don't expect them to be the last injector you will buy!

rv275's will be about twice that. $200 or so and less than a year old.

That really isn't that great of a deal considering you can get new 275's for $280......it isn't really a bad deal either - it's just not "smokin' " deal either!

For $280, do you have to send your injectors in for core deposit? I won't have to trade him my injectors for cores. Not to mention, I get his help swapping them out since he has done it before and will have done it a second time before helping with mine. Probably a pretty fair deal on my end considering his expertise and help.
