Injectors

Does anyone have experience with Bosch 300 or 315 injectors? I have a 95, 4wd, 5spd, 4.10's that is a daily driver (70%) and tow vehicle (30%, 6 - 7K) and was wondering about driveability, mpg, etc. The only changes to this truck, so far, are a forwarded stock fuel plate, 4 inch exhaust, boost and pyro. Thanks for your help.

I used too have the 300's in my truck before I got the 370's. They are a 'little' smokey and you'll probably have to adjust the pre-boost fuel screw on the afc. It's the one on the back of the diaphram that the boost line attaches to. Definate power increase along with EGT's. Can't say how they would tow, but I speculate - Hot. You'll definately need air. I adjusted the boost elbow to 36 psi when I had the set up with my stock HX35. I did end up going with a High Tech Turbo hybrid kit (www.htturbo.com) to help cool things a bit. It will also take a bit longer to get down to 300 at shut down. On the plus side... You'll like the power. Fuel mileage - way down with your foot in it. Otherwise, no major change.

And the question becomes; how do you keep your foot out of it once you have the power? Thanks for the insight.

Answer: When your 20 feet off the little 4 wheeler in front of you and he/she hits the brakes.... 7000lbs doesn't stop to quickly.
