How much horsepower can the 03 HO stock injectors handle before you need to upgrade? A

 

Being such an "new" design to the Cummins I don't think anyone really knows yet. I do believe that Edge has a 60 hp plug in for it that they are testing now.

 

I do believe they have the box in the works.

 

All the usual suspects have a box in the works. I guess TST smoked a lift pump already testing their's. Or so I read. Lots of us are interested in seeing how things shape up with the various upgrades.

 

I thought Bully Dog's 03 CTD dynoed over 550 with their new box.

 

That one had a few other goodies, twin turbo etc

 

To answer the original question that started this thread.<br><br>With unmodified stock injectors on the 03 with a fueling box addition I think you can expect around a 120hp gain without upgrading injectors, the tips of the 03 injectors are very similar to the older ISB injectors, so alot of the old rules will apply IMO. <br><br>--Justin

 

Thanks Justin. I guess we'll see the results in the next month or so. I want to get the most hp I can without changing injectors or exceeding exhuast limits (i'm getting guages first).<br><br>Jody
