Question Injectors

02 cummins 98650 miles, stock except Diablo Puck. Was told that injectors need to be replaced 75 to 100 th miles. Truck not running good before puck, helped some. I would like injectors a little above stock, with a better spray pattern. Any suggestions ? price? Tsk, Valk

If the truck was not running good I would suspect other things before I suspected injectors. Mine ran just fine at 120k. But of course replacing them with a better injectors made me smile real wide and I will not even comment on what you should get since I am extremely biased at the moment. Search some on the forum for "mild mods" and you will see the assortment, basically in the form of 3 injectors: DDP-II, RV275 and Mach1 or Mach 1.6. The rest of it is up to your wallet.

Good inexpensive way to go is Bosch 275 injectors. Adds 40 hp.
For best quality, lowest egt's and least smoke.....F-1, Mach 1.6's. Adds 90 hp!
Good dealer near you!

I would highly recommend paying an extra $3oo and going with Mach 1s as a mild upgrade rather than RV275. I ran the 275s for a few months and did not feel much of a difference at all vs. stock. Granted, I have no electronic upgrades but I do feel a great difference from M1.6 alone.
I think the best way to describe it, they like took off 3,000 lbs from the truck's weight.

I'm pretty impressed with my jammer nozzles from edge, I would say there stage 1 (50 hp) or their stage 2 (75 hp) would work out just fine. The nozzles are pretty inexpensive also. Stage 1's are around $190-$200 stage 2 are about $225. I'm sure you could find a better deal on ebay or something. But thats just my .02

I love the Mach 4.5's I have, if you are looking for a mild increase in power and still pretty clean burning I would go with the Mach 1 or 1.6's as well. You really get what you pay for. The jammers nozzles are cheap and they make ok power but are dirty and hot and I was afraid of dropping a tip off in the cylinder when I had my Jammer 3's JMO though. If you go with the Jammers make sure you have them tested before you put them in so you know all the holes are flowing properly.
