Could a guy tow with mach 3's and a comp turned real low and a stock turbo? It seems that they would get hot real fast, but every one says to go big so what do ya'll think?

Still looking for some guidance on these injectors. I want to go as big as I can without smoking out the critters in a trailer behind me. Don't care if it smokes on high settings just wanna be able to turn the smoke off at will.

CC You can easily tow with stage three's and the comp on 0 or 1 , easily. And rember even if on a really hot summer day and a long highway grade if it gets toasty, just let off the pedal. Its that simple. Bigger injectors dont run hotter, they make more power, and more power means more heat. Control the power and thus the heat with your foot.

99, I like stage 3 EDM for you too. With the box on the lowest setting, I think you will be real happy with the smoke control. My stage 4's with the box off will just haze a bit with it floorboarded. Normal driving and the smoke is 0% zero. Depending upon what elevation you will be running at, drop down a size to the three's and I think you will be very pleased.

I'd agree 3's would work IF you're planning to get a turbo eventually. It sucks having the power but not being able to use it. I have EDM3's, Drag Comp and a bigger turbo and I can bury the EGT anytime with the box on any setting except off. If you aren't adding a turbo down the road, go with the 2.0-2.5 injectors. contact www.f1diesel.com (or any of the vendors that sell EDM injectors). Don M makes EDM injectors and he's helped MANY members get the right set up. I've also had good luck with Bob Wagner www.wagnerandassociates.biz
