I can run stage 4 EDMS and keep the pedal on the floor as long as I want, and EGT's will just barely hit 1300 as long as my TST is on zero. Even with the TST switched off, it still performs its boost fooler function and I have a boost elbow and run about 36 Lbs of boost. So if you have some sort of boost fooler and a boost elbow, go for it.

Whoops, just looked at your sig... you will have to watch your EGT's to run that comp on 5 with stage 4's and the stock turbo thats for sure. But I still would do it and just control it yourself. Bottom line, I like big injectors and controlling EGT with yur foot..... thats what your foot is for right????

I'm with Kev.

Who cares if WOT gives you screaming EGTs? Just back off the dern pedal and be happy already!

Sure, it may make the pedal respond more like an F-16 stick, but if you adjust to it, it feels pretty natural.

The injectors I have now are way small. I used to think a 90hp injector was borderline. Now I know better.

I'd run the bigger injectors even towing. If you have to back off, DO IT. Watch the gauges-- that's why you have them!

I'm eyeing the M4s myself

With the box off, not much at all. A puff o' black just a split second before boost is up, then a light haze for mid range and once 30 Psi boost is on tap, its as clean as can be.

With the EZ stacked with a TST PM3, I can make the car behind me have to stop dead in the road if I want... But I have to TRY to do this, like put it in 6th while only goin about 30 MPH and drag the brakes so the RPM's dont pick up and the turbo wont light.... This is the precise art form to use to properly smoke out the yuppie looser tailgaiting you in the foreign car while on their cell phone..... Do it right and the smoke will actually come through their vents and make them and their interior stink of diesel for the rest of the day..... This is only resevered for the most obnoxious of yuppie scum however..... you must learn to respect and properly use this level of force only when completely justified by the three conditions below:

1.) Its a Foreign Car
2.) He/She is tailgating you badly
3.) They are talking on a cell phone

If all three conditions are met, it justifies the discharge of maximum soot!!!!

use the force wisely!

Just my $.02... My stage 4 edms have a lot more "clean" power off boost than my stage II honed injectors. NOw, if you lay into it off boost , the 4's can black out the road, but they are much more drivable than the IIs. I can pull out in traffic now and get up to speed with no smoke where my II's would haze a little.

Like hohn said. I used to think 80 hp injectors were big enough.... now I know better.

get some edms and go big. Just watch your right foot.

megawatts

that is the funniest thing i've ever heard. I go to school in boulder colorado....yeah we can't stay out of the papers, but anyway! The treehuggers hear hate my truck, plus they loath the straightpipe. I love to smoke the little toyota hybird cars. I just think i need a little more smoke to do so effectively! It sounds like that's gonna come from the injectors? THanks for the laught....YOU RULE!

With all the brands out, "without starting the wars, I'm not asking which is best here", which ones are considered to be the smokers. I pull alot of stock trailers and them critters can't live on diesel fumes the way some of us can.

That's another beautiful thing about a Comp box (or any other box with in-cab on/off switch). Turn it off and the smoke is WAY less. You've got ~100hp at the push of a button. Start thinking about a bigger turbo, you'll make way better use of your box and injectors when you're not choking the stock turbo at 35# boost before the EGT starts climbing REAL FAST!

Ahhhh yes, the hybrid car..... the ultimate smoke out trophy... preferably one with the 'clean our air now', 'greenpeace' or 'clean power now' stickers ........ See one of those out there and they don’t have to be tailgating or on the phone... just get in front of them and let it POUR....... moron environmentalists..... They don’t seem to understand that one major volcano eruption like mount St Helens in the 80's was equivalent to 200 years of man made pollution, and volcanoes have been erupting since time immemorial, yet some how they have made the 'logical' conclusion that man is destroying the earth...

I say the same thing about eviro-wackos that I do about liberals.. their whole existence is based around the phase " Don’t confuse me with the facts "..

The biggest problem with them folks is they get involved and donate to the fat cats wallets. I don't think I ever cared enough about any politician to donate time or money to the cause. They need to get a life.
