I need new injectors, and have choice between the new BD 155 HP EDM, or Jammer #4 140 HP EDm. I'm in a pinch, does anybody know if one is better than the other.

 

I dont think theres alot of difference between the 2 and since you have Jammer IIIs already I hardly think the upgrade would be worthwhile( small HP for the $$$$) There was a used set of Mach 6s in the classifieds and Im sure those you would see a difference in

 

I just re-read your post and see you said you need new injectors not want new injectors. What happened to your Jammer IIIs?

 

I was starting to develop a knock at idle and under light load, so whent through the basics IAT sensor, MAP, adjusted the valves this did fix the problem. I pulled my injectors and took them to central diesel injection and had they preform a pop test. This is how I learn't that I had 3 bad injectors that where weeping and did not atomize the fuel (pop pressure was low aswell) - just sprayed streams. The other 3 functioned perfect, the weeping can cause engine damage so like I though the tech suggested they don't go in the truck again. The Diesel Dynamic injectors are a great injector and they also have many other great products, occaisioally a less than perfect iteam can slip out the door and this is my case. I had to buy another set of injectors locally to get running again and those were my choices - while I send the jammers to DD for Repair.
I went with the BD 160 HP EDM's and they work well, better than expected and no knock. I guess I keep the Jammer3's for winter use when they are fixed.

 

Are the BD XXX pulse just Jammers?

 

I have BD injectors now, the injectors I had trouble with were Diesel Dynamic Jammer #3
