Injection pump upgrade?

How do you know when you need to get a bigger injection pump? Is there any way to test the stock one to see if it is doing a good enough job?

Your truck doesn't have a "bigger" pump available per se-- there are modified pumps available that flow a little more, but you don't need one.

Your pump basically has three modes of operating--- good, tired, or broke.

Usually if it seems to dyno alot lower than a normal combination would make or if the truck has any certain pump codes for failure. You dont need anything more than a stock SO pump if you were to need a new one anyways.
