can someone explain or show pictures of downpipes for our trucks? is this a long pipe that runs from turbo to the frame of the truck and connects to your exhaust heading back...or is it just the elbow that comes off the turbine housing and looks down to connect to the exhaust pipe?

the reason i ask is because i bought my truck with a banks power system on it...it has a big head wastegate actuator and some type of cast elbow from the back of the 35 that turns down, then hooks to the banks 4" SS exhaust that was on the truck...im just trying to figure out what im gonna need to connect a DP to my current exhaust when i swap turbos

 

the cast elbow is part of the turbo, the downpipe is the 1st section of exhaust pipe that connects to the cast elbow and runs down to frame level and connects into the midpipe.
