I found this air/water intercooler on ebay, if you put it between the stock intercooler and the motor, i think it would work really well. if you put it between the intercooler and the motor with some waterlines and an aluminum holding tank(one gallon) and a 12 volt pump, and a tranny cooler and fan.

What do you think?

 

y not just do water meth? prolly more efficient and a lot less complicated.


yes air/ water intercoolers are very efficient but kind of complicated if you plan on keeping stock intercooler.

air/water coolers work great, but you will see greater EGT reduction with less hassle and probably less money w/ a good water injection setup... and even furthur EGT reduction and power increase if methanol is introduced w/ the water

 

The ONLY thing that AWICs are good for is drag racing, IMHO. You can put a bunch of ice in it before a run, but in normal driving you can never get the water as cool as the ambient air that would otherwise be flowing over your AAIC.

 

It would be great on a boat.
