I got my tax return check in and I'm going to buy a vulcan kit, a draw straw II, a BHAF, and rips 4" straight pipe. I plan on doing the fuel system in march, I will be using a holley blue pump with my vulcan kit. After all thats is done I want to start adding some fuel to my truck. Would a smarty and some RV275s or mach 1.6s be a good combo? I will put a DTT or GB valve body in before i put power to my truck. What are some good box/injector combos for mild to moderate HP? I don't wanna put alot of power to my truck yet, later down the line i'll add something more aggressive. I'd like the truck to have good drivability, it is my daily driver, and I'd like some better towing power.

 

I ran a smarty and a set of 1.6's for a while, it really woke up the truck and the stock turbo could still keep it cool. Later you could add a tst and a turbo.

 

or you could run a edge comp in ez mode then tap the wire when your ready. I like the smarty/tst better but this way would be cheaper

 

Thanks Charlie. I do like the TST, a friend just put one on his 06 and it really woke the stock truck up. I'm going to stay awya from the edge, i've read a decent amount of threads lately on this and another site about people having problems with edge units.
