Well guys, I finally caved in to the pressure from all of you and tapped my Comp! I'm staying on 3x3 for now at least until my new LP arrives......I'm lovin' it - the truck is an absolute pleasure to drive! I have a neighbor who is an arborist and I haul some wood for him part time when he has a really big tree job to do.....Anyway, I had a 12,000 lb trailer loaded to the hilt with most of a 30" diameter maple tree and it was heavy as you know what! I left it on 3x3 and wow! - what a difference when you are towing a heavy load! You just can't appreciate all that extra torque until you tow someting heavy! AWESOME!!

 

 

you are braver than me so far . i know i will end up one of these days tapping the wire but i cant bring my self to buy a wire tap box for fear that this vp44 with 126k on it will up and die wonce i do tap it .my luck it would die when im out of the country and my wife would be stuck at the mercey of a local shop to install a new pump .
