hx 40 specs

Does anyone kno the specs on a HX 40 such as ?/?/? i kno a few guys have them but they dont have the exact specs just wondering?

There tons of different HX 40's, you need part numbers and casting numbers to figure out what you have. The easiest way is to count blades of both the compressor and turbine. Next measure the inside diameter (inducer) of impeller and the outside diameter (exducer). Casting numbers on the turbine should have you're housing area. Same goes for the compressor housing. Kinda old school, but should give you an idea of what you have. Pictures help as well.

Usually the 6 blade compressor wheel is the aggressively pitched 60mm wheel that makes the most hp.

As far as exhaust housing size, you can always look inside the exhaust inlet flange for the cm size. They are cast just inside, on the HX40's the 16cm is the ideal housing.

60/65/16 is the ideal HX40 if im not mistaken.
