Just finished truck, Problems...

I just got my new setup together and got it running tonight. Not happy at all, hopefully there is just something stupid wrong with it. First off the tach is only working for a couple seconds after startup and then it kicks off to 0rpms. Fuel level and water temp are working intermitently also. The truck revs very quick and crisp so that is good. On to the boost, it sppols very slow and is only making 32 psi max. My **** stock turbo did that. And when I push the clutch in after a high gear pull it will just die. Im confused at this point. The setup is a stock bottom end, re worked head with fire rings and studs, Rips twins 62/14 over s400, Mach 7 injectors, FASS 150/150, Edge Juice w Attitude, and I just have open 5" down pipe til I can finish exhaust later in week. Please any help would be appreciated. It seems like I just spent 8k for nothing right now. It felt as fast with stock injectors and turbo. And here is the list of codes it is throwing but I dont know if these could be stored from when my last injection pump went out and turbo blew up???

Ok I figured out that the cam sensor wasnt plugged in all the way. That was the majority of the problem. Motor is making more power and boost now. But, the fuel level gauge is not working and the truck will still just die when I let off from a hard pull. Any ideas on that?

I'm only taking a guess at this, but once I got the injectors, turbo, and comp in there, after a hard run it just died also. But it wouldn't start for me after that until I cracked the injectors and bled it, then fired right up. It could be VP related, but if yours starts right up it might not be.

fuel gauges are infamous for going bad. when mine did i pulled the unit out of the tank and found out that it had came apart.

as for your other problem, it sounds like what alpha said. i dont remember if mine ever died when i was modded (530 hp) but i do remember it falling on its face if you didnt know how to get out of the throttle. try letting out of it easier next time and see if that helps

Try letting out easier and then blipping the throttle a couple times. Buddy has the same problem after a sled pull, blips the throttle a couple times and it keeps it from dying.

It's a common problem with big injectors, and a manual tranny. My Mach 4s will do it. You just need to remember it will happen and give it a couple blips of the throttle as you let out. If you forget and it starts to die, you can usually put it back in gear and dump the clutch and it will re-fire. If you can avoid slamming the throttle shut after a hard pull it shouldn't happen, just ease out of the pedal.

Cool. I kinda thought that is why it would do that. This truck feels like an animal now that i got all the bugs worked out. My **** Attitude monitor only reads to 45psi though so I dont know what it is truely making. Looking at gauges now. Also I need to order another programmer to stack with the Juice. What would you all reccomend? A Smarty?
