Just finished a few mods...

First off, I want to say thanks to everyone on this site for their wealth of info and knowledge that they are willing to share. it made things a whole lot easier. Here is the list:

Installed the 3200rpm spring
Turned the fuel pin 180 degrees
Turned the star wheel 1/4 turn clockwise (for now, to see how I like it)
Turned up the full power screw 1 turn clockwise (again, for now, my gauges aren't installed yet)

I took her for a quick spin and all I can say is HOLY CRAP! She flat out boogies like it is a whole new truck! Once the turbo kicks in in third gear, it is like someone rammed into the back of me. I almost drove off the side of the road (road was a little bumpy and the back end got a little squirrely) that and I wasn't expecting it! The only issue that I had was that I dropped the washer to the top hat that holds the gov. spring on down into the pump. I had to take a straw and suck all the fuel out of the pump until I saw it. Thank god I did. That would have made for a bad day. After putting it all back together she burped a couple of times and then purred like a kitten. The idle smoothed out a little as well! Anyway, sorry for the long post, but know I know why ya'll get so excited about bombing your trucks! I myself have only just begun

Awesome. Too bad the slope, from this point, is wayyy slippery.

I remember when I first got my truck. I tossed on a 12cm housing, BHAF and tweaked the pump and thought "this is fine, I don't need much power, just something reliable". Well, that was 2 months ago, and look where I am now, LOL!

The folks here ARE pretty sharp. It further proves the old saying ~ "Knowledge Is Power!"
