HTB2 boost question

I have 2 questions.

I`m not seeing more than 30psi with my turbo. Its a 62/65/12. My mods are in my sig. I thought these wastegates were good for 40psi. Any info?

Second part. My cruising egts are 780-900 degrees. I have a 4" db and 4" exhaust. Thats with the adr. on pl02.

Do you have injectors? Check for leaks.

No, stock injectors. The only thing I removed was the coupling from the turbo to the intercooler. Could my other couplings possibly fail, or do I need to bump up to bigger inkectors. Even with my adrenalin on pl08 it`ll light rather quick, but still will only hit 30psi. Would being -below zero cause this?

Sometimes the wastegates arent set to what they say. You can adjust it by turning the actuator rod. I dont remember the direction 100% but i think you turn it so it get longer to raise boost.

You want to make the rod shorter to increase boost.

You don't have the fuel to see over 30 pounds. Most of the HTT chargers are set at 42 psi. That's plenty of boost for stock head bolts and gaskets. Put some sticks in and it will go up.

So when I clamp the wastegate line shut, i see 40psi... So if I put bigger injectors in it`ll build more boost? I can hit 30psi without a problem right now.

More fuel = more boost. Thats why I asked if you had injectors. Thats a little bit big of a turbo for stock injectors to push over 30psi.
