HT3b turbine inlet gasket #

Anyone have the part # for the turbine inlet gasket for a garrett HT3B/22cm. I need one to seal up my hotpipe. Local truck shop was of no help.

Thanks

No one with twins has ever had to replace theres ? The hole spacing on the flange is 4 3/8 x 3in centered on the holes. The overall flange is 5 1/4 x 4in. Is this a t-4 or t-6 housing ?

Thanks

Ew that is a sweet housing you have there! I haven't seen too many 22cm's with a non-divided entry! I don't have the part number but on the divided entry turbos its a T-6 flange.

OK I just checked my HT3B and it uses the same size flange.

I just went into the the cummins dealer and said I need one of these.........and gave him the old one.

The ht3b I'm running is identical to that one you got there. 22cm non-divided.

I don't have the old one. I'm rounding up the parts to get things installed. Local truck stop didn't what to give me any help at all without a CPL # which I don't have for a big rig and the closest cummins dealer is 1 hour drive away.

Hmmm I see I'll look in the garage, I might have another one somewhere. I think I bought 2 when I was in there. 1 for just in case I think. I'll have to find it. I can get you the part #.

or I can get you one and mail it to you, I work about 3 blocks from the western canada cummins shop. they;re not expensive IIRC.

You should't need a part number. Just go to a truck shop and tell them you need a gasket for for an HT3B or s400. IIRC all T6 gaskets are the same.

I know this might sound crude but I use red high temp silicone to seal most of my exhaust gasket areas. I have a 3e which is almost the same turbo and it has a cat flange on it I was told.

Man that way smaller housing than my 3B. I have the 26cm housing and it’s a monster. I just bought a Garrett 4296, it’s about the same size as your 3b. I've tried the orange gasket sealer stuff, you just have to make sure your surfaces are flat and true. It works. Most of these flanges are warped and are no longer true. I usually run a flat file across the surface just before I put everything together. This keeps the soot under the hood to a minimum.

If you get a T-6 gasket and it is made for divided entry I would cut out that middle piece out, it wouldn't be cool if it ended up going through the turbo lol.
