Several of us are running the SHOVP44 by Industrial Injection. They idle and drive just like stock, till you punch the throttle and then you will feel a big 50-75 hp increase. This is as much as a EZ or Smarty! Heck add 1 of those and see another big increase. Get a fuel gauge and a FASS!!!

No complaints, idle and drive like stock but with a little more power. The only thing that I have noticed is that the idle gets a little rough when the motor is hot during a hot summer day, but it smooths out as it cools down. Nothing to worry about though.
Put your guages on when you put your fuel lines on, at least the FP guage.
The hot rod vp, super high output vp, lightning vp, or whatever you want to call it is a great mod for a stock truck. Then if you need more power then get a smarty and/or injectors. I got my II pump from Doug: http://www.performancedieselwarehouse.com/index.html
If rpms drop below 800 my hrvp causes my engine to make a chugging sound, but its kinda cool =P
