HP Guess?

How much boost could you expect a 12V truck to make with a 215 pump, all stock engine except for a plate on the pump? Don't know what size plate...
I thought my '96 was all stock except for a plate when I bought it, but it's pushing about 42 psi boost - more than I was expecting out of even a really hot plate. Any idea approximately how much power this would put me at?

Probably around 300-325 if it's a stock turbo! If you really wanna find out, bring it to Columbus on Saturday

Is there a Dyno Day going or something? Got a link to the details? Won't be able to bring the '96, anyway, as I'm dropping it off with JR for some new toys on Saturday . Might bring my 24V up afterward, though, depending on timing.

We had a 96 with a slide stock plate, and it would make 35-38psi, and it dynoed 280hp... with the wastegate closed...

Wow, so this could be a real mild plate slid full forward. It feels a ton faster than my '01, which is maybe 250 rwhp. Can't wait to get some more mods on it now .

Chris, thanks for the link. Not sure if I'll make it up there or not. I've already got about six hours of driving to do, and I've got to stop at two diesel shops and a 4WheelParts center on Saturday lol. I'll be up if I can find the time, though! Thanks again.
