how would this set up work

on a 98.5 truck

goerend full built auto and convertor
HRVP44 pump
edge drag comp
100hp injectors
the adkins lil 55 that i have...64 or 66/16...its laggy on my 6spd losing boost between shifts...how well would it run on an auto with the above lsited fueling mods?

i dont wanna sell it to someone who is gonna have just as many issues with it spooling as i have.

Sounds like a good combo provided the converter isn't too tight.

If the converter is too tight, you'll never get on top of that turbo and the lag will KILL you.

Something roughly equivalent to a DTT 89% is about where you want to be with a big single.

I've heard tales of fellas with race converters (DTT 93%) and big turbos that couldn't climb curbs in the truck-- not enough grunt!!

You'll also want the valve body set up for higher-rpm shifts. Otherwise you'll have a laggy start only to have the lag all over again when it shifts too soon.

the good thing about goerand is he will work with you to get the converter right so it will light the turbo as you want it to . by playing with the internals of the converter
