i have upgraded hydraulics on it now, ill go out and check the fluid on it, and maybe throw the stock hydraulics on it to see if anything changes (even tho i know they wont last)

I hope its just the hydros for now, i wasn't planning on the rebuild/upgrade to the iron giant until the winter!

believe I found the problem, I got under the truck and grabbed the slave cylinder where it bolts to the bell housing and its loose, the flange that bolts to the transmission is still tight, but i think the plastic has cracked where the cylinder meets the flange.

i wonder if peter has a warranty on his hydraulics, they are only a little over a year old with about 15k on them.

that was not the problem...i pulled the slave cylinder off, inspected it, put it back in, problem still there.

i am leaning towards it being the clutch, and not the hydraulics now tho. I went out in the field, did a couple 4th gear, 4 lo sled pulling launches to see how the clutch reacted, it worked great still once i got it in gear, and then after 3 launches when the clutch was warm...the truck went into gear great, no issues whatsoever. After the truck idled abolut 5 minutes, tried it again and of course when the clutch cooled down the issue was back. Its at a point now where its not drivable unless i want to shut the truck off at every redlight to put in gear, or downshift back to second at every stop, and never put the truck in neutral

those 5600's are a beast and heavy.
Let me know if you need me to come over and drag it to the CAVE.
