how noticeable, 275's?

I just ordered Bosch 275's and was wondering what kind of
power increase I should expect. How noticable will it be?

My buddy has a 98.5 auto and had 100hp DD Stage 3s. Now he has the RV injectors(thought the Stage 3s would fry the tranny) and the difference is huge. The truck was a lot quicker with the Stage 3s.

I would go Mach 1.5 or 2s if I were you.

275's will add approximatly 35-40 Hp. On these heavy trucks it's very hard to notice a 35-40 Hp increase. To keep from think you cheated your ownself do 0-60 times before the installation and then after the installation. This was the only way I could tell I added stage 1 injectors and they gave me a solid 60 extra Hp as later determined by dyno testing.

A little late for this question huh?

Add an EZ ( built in boost fooler). It will help you notice the diff. Being limited to 20psi will hold you back for sure.

There are a few EZ's for sale in our classifieds for cheap.

When I first got the truck I put on the Banks Power Pack. It included the ottominder fueling box, a wastegate modification and 4" exhaust & a few other items. It added a noted difference. Shortly after that I put in some RV 275's and I really noticed the difference.

From what I have read here it seems to be the consensus that ETH's like injectors more than ETC's but that ETC's get more out of the boxes. So that may be why I noticed the difference and some of the others didn't.

Anyway I think the RV275s will Then a box and boost fooler
Then you will need just a little more and then just a little more

Good luck

George

What torque increases are possible with just RV275s on a 2001.5 SO/auto? This is a friend's truck that already has a banks 4" exhaust and a K&N drop-in filter.

I started out by installing an Edge EZ. The change was incredible! I installed RV275's later and the change was also incredible! I'm at the limit of my clutch now. As for smoke, I can also make the road dissappear behind me in low boost situations. As for boost, I'm getting 38PSI WOT at around 2200 RPM. I did start out with an HO though.
