I am installing 4" stainless Magnaflow exhaust on my truck. I guess what I am asking is can I effectively cool say 150hp injectors with a HX40 or a b-1 and 4" exhaust, or should I plan on buying 5" later. I am looking for the stoutest combination using a single turbo. Thanks for any comments.

 

Many people believe that you only need a 5" exhaust system if you are in the 450-500+ hp range. With a single stock turbo, there aint enough ummmph in it to completely maximize the 5" system's capacity. Not sure about a HX40 or b-1 turbo though. I'm sure someone will provide some better info.
