How many happy with RE-0880?
Will be considering a new air filter probably next month, and will need something to help with EGT's when I get my injectors in with #10.

Just wondering how many people have the RE-0880 and are happy with it? I've heard some pretty bad things about it, but was discussing thoughts with Rip Rook the other night and found out he runs a RE-0880

So not to start a war here just wanting to ask a simple question cause I'm either getting a RE-0880 or a Mega Cannon [undecided] ???

I ran the RE-0880 both open and then in a Scotty 1 housing. I now run the Scotty 2 with the AFE replacement of the RE-0880.
THe Scotty2 will give you the EGT reduction you are looking for....

Re:How many happy with RE-0880?
I am running the RE-0880 as an open element in my first gen right now. I have had it for about 6 months with no apparent signs of dust or oil on my turbo blades. This is by far the best filter that I have yet to run on my truck. The filter that it replaced was the K&N filter for the first gens but I was using it as an open element, to give you a good picture, this filter is about the same size as the BHAF, and the RE-0880 still beats it when it comes to EGT reduction and seat of the pants feel. I bought mine from http://www.goairfilters.com for 45 bucks.
