How many hangers for 5" straight?

Got my exhaust in, 5" straight pipe. Came with 8 hangers, I know that is too many. Why did I get so many and how many rubber hangers are attached to the frame that I should be tying into? I only have two (one on tranny cross member and one right at the carrier bearing) and cannot see where the portion that goes over the axle and then out is going to be supported. Am I going to have to make something to make this work? Exhaust is from markoidaho off ebay. Thanks.

On the stock setup their is one right in front of where the cat was, another a foot or so behind the muffler, one behind the axle and one more near the tip.
Think these same hangers would be more than adequate for a 5".

Well I evidently unintentionaly got rid of one of these hangers, I do have the very front one, the middle one, and the rear one. Guess when I install this I will be making some hangers. I would like to delete the clunky looking last hanger for a rod type with a rubber insulator.

I bought some new double thick rubber insulaters and will be making hangers from them and some solid stock.
