How Far to Advance Timing for Towing

I am looking to advance the timing, but I do haul a camper and tow a boat.
So how far should I advance the timing, or is it better to leave it the way it is.

Thanks

Did you see an increase in starting difficulty in cold weather?
I'm thinking if having mine bumped up, but I don't want to create any issues. Stock truck.

It starts a little easier with an advance.

I've had my timing at 15.5 for 11 years. It gets to -40 here in the winter. The truck starts fine when I plug it in at that temp. Unplugged at around 0 I'll cycle the grid heaters twice.

15.5 is the best if most of your driving is at highway speeds.
The most efficient timing setting depends on rpm, 15.5 is perfect for around 2000 rpm.
