How Could I Put a Fold-Down Step On My Running Board?

I just got 35" tires on my truck and between that and the front end leveling kit, my 5'1" girlfriend has some trouble stepping up into the truck. That'll be even worse when I eventually get a lift kit. Does anybody make a fold-down step that I could mount to the underside of her running board, which would allow me to lower it when she was going to be riding around with me (we only see each other on the weekends)? Maybe something similar in concept to this one:

Thanks.

Friend of mine with a short wife bought an electric one from an RV place that pops out from under the truck when you open the door, retracts when you close it.
Pretty cool and not too pricey.

Great idea! But the electric RV steps I found online ARE pretty pricey. Like around $250-$350. Is that what he paid?

No he paid more like a little over $100. It's not a full set of steps like some RVs have but rather just one step.

maybe an emergency escape roll up attic ladder?
You might try building one that slides out when the door opens and retracts when you close it. They are relatively simple to build. I think some 4x4 accessories shops have some.

How about get a taller girlfriend or leave this one at home
Have you checked out places like boaters world or the likes?
I have seen many types of fold down steps(boarding ladders) on boats, maybe they have something you could make work?

I still say that you should be the good boyfriend and help her into the truck.

Then what's the problem. I always enjoyed helping my girlfriends into the truck. Especially if they have a low cut dress on.
