I was wondering if anyone has made a homemade propane injection kit. If so how was it made? Lets face it propane kits are expensive!! Is it even possible to make such a thing? Any type of suggestion would help a lot thinks.

 

Never messed with any drugs besides water/meth. But the big boys say that propane aint the ticket anymore.

Instead, they run nitrous.

Are you doing it for mileage or performance? The mileage gains aren't that great from what I hear, if even noticable.

 

propane is used as extra fuel not extra air/boost like nitrous

 

Thanks to all. I am probley going to end up using a Nitrous ket. I think it would be alot better for performance.

 

I experimented with a weed burner stuck in the air intake. I found the motor need to be running over 1500 rpm and have some load on it. Idle and costing just runs rough. Good for about 200 rpm more withpropane on and keeping the pedal in same posistion. Most kits don't come on till 10 psi of boost so it won't do much for mileage running around town.
