I'm using a solo holley blue. Since I sswapped the fuel lines from the tank to the blue and from the blue to the stock fuel filter with 10mm id rubber hose I can't pull my FP below 15psi (Edge pulse on 4x4 -same fueling as an Edge Comp on 4x4) and DonM's EDM Mach 3s. (I dunno where this puts me in the hp department- let's say it runs nicely)
What I did notice was that the internal pressure regulator of the holley blue needed some help (deburring and polishing of the piston, swapping the spring and a shim to get to exactly right pressure)- I'm running the pump in the frame rail by the tank.- My quick connect fitting at the tank was porous so I had great pressure but air in the fuel which wasn't too helpful.

Is this the Holley Blue pump from summit? I am not sure if this is right. It looks different from what I have seen and I wasnt sure. That's all I can find.

you guys out. I think you would be happy with the Holley
Blue Pump! The Black flows a little more fuel (140 GPH vs
110 GPH) for the Blue, but if you use the Blue in conjunction
with your stock lift pump you will have plenty of pressure.
I like that idea because if the Holley Blue would ever fail
at least you have a "back-up" with the stock lift pump.
As I said earlier I am running the Holley Red (97 GPH)
with the stock lift pump and I see 16lbs. at idle and
never below 12-13 @ WOT!

I did not check this thread again until now. I dynoed at 300 hp last year at Claremont (you were there John). I have stock injectors and only a PM3. Maybe my Holley Blue is sick, but it did supply good pressure, just not enough volume. I know the pump predated the Holley issues with quality I heard about with the Black pumps. I tried stretching the spring, but that didn't make any difference in the volume. Could it be how hard the PM3 fuels?

It may have been your pump, Chris. A buddy of ours down in Wilmington ran the blue only at the 480 hp level and could pull it down to 5psi at WOT. That is on the borderline, so he decided to change to the stock/Red combo I had on mine and dad has on his. Since then he keeps his gauge pegged on 16psi at WOT. His idle pressures are just a touch over 20. Both mine and Dad's pulls down to ~13psi, but we run bigger injectors in our trucks.
