holley blue pump

where is the cheapest place to get a pump at? How hard are they to put in and what hidden cost are there?

i found a whole kit for 280. is this a good deal? this is though schield diesel

$280? You can buy the pump from an Advanced Auto Parts store or similar shop for $154. And then with maybe $20 extra, you can fab up a mount and connect it together. Total cost, ~$174.

What are you guys doing with the blue pump? I have a spare what can I use it for??

You can use it as a replacement lift pump for these trucks. On your truck, you shouldn't worry about it since you have a 12 valve. It's only the 24 valves that have to worry about it.
