Hole in cowl for more turbo noise

I know if you get the Scotty air II and if you cut the hole you get more turbo noise. Can you get the same effect with a BHAF and the hole cut?

No because the Scotty is actually designed to pull air through the hole you cut.

actually, it'll probably make it a little louder, but don't do it...

just replace the BHAF with a UNI or AFE conical filter... you can't believe how much louder they are compared to the BHAF!

I still have my hole from the scotty2, but it's been replaced with a aFe filter for the twins. It makes a nice whistling sound.
