I installed the SO pump and the truck sounds great but it just doesn't have the bottom end and mid-range it use to w/ the HO pump. If I'm not loaded or pulling, I spend a lot of time between 1500 and 2000 and it needs an extra click on the bully dog to make up for the power loss.

Normal, but well worth the slight low end loss for the top end gain you can get!

Looking at his sig, the HO pump would still have kept everything happy. He's not near 500hp yet, where the SO begins to out perform the HO pump.

No kidding, I think I'm still glad I didn't go with the HP pump and the extra click on the Bully Dog takes care of the bottom end. I will be interested to see how it acts next time I'm pulling the loaded gooseneck when I'm using the top end more. I'm also curious to see where my fuel economy is.
